The perfect way to encourage youngsters to read is to give them good books. Series books are generally geared towards readers aged 6-10.  In some cases, I can do a book club all of one series, please ask about availability.  What better way to be remembered by a distant grandchild than to send a present in the mail every month?
 
 

Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene Nancy Drew still reigns.  She's been popular since the thirties, and each decade makes her their own, complete with rewrites, republications, and new books added to the series.  I'll send out perhaps the most popular format yet: the yellow spined books published in the sixties.
