The Future of Television has four great mosaics of Cheney, Ashcroft, W, and Rummy. Regardless of your political persuasion, the art here is really cool.
College Basketball rankings composites are listed at this site. Bama does show up at #19 for the upcomming roundball season.

As I get ready for bed, I leave you with a shot from the end of a great football day (with bad results). Maybe the sun will break through again for a struggling young Tide QB leading a thin, but talented team. Here's to next week's chances. Let's go beat the GameCocks!

Is this really Arkansas? Yes, really. Here we are looking at the Boston Mountains (home to Devil's Den State Park) through a dirty car window. Northwest Arkansas is quite beautiful, fun, and a great place to visit. Yes, I'd even like to live there. Pretty high complement when an opposing team to Bama is also located there. But, the folks are nice and polite, just not southern. At all. Heck, big chunks of Florida have more grits in their system that this corner of Arkansas.

Ridin' a HOG to victory doesn't mean giving a Harley to Bo Jackson for retirement. No, the cheerleaders say 'Go Hogs' with earnest. Now I know why Prez. Clinton liked 'em young and plump. People are constantly calling the pigs (pig sooo-ey) and proclaming their love of pork. Here's to Monica, an ex-patriot Arkansas fan. Gotta love ruttin' for the Hogs. Go get'em piggies. Payback will be painful when Bama gets back, post-probation!

Now that's a commitment to bbq grills. Overall, weak tailgates at Fayettville. But, this vendor gets a big "thumbs-up."

How big is a Razorback? Well, I now know from personal experience. Really big. Although it was a low tide this past weekend, Wes McDowell and I had a great time in northwest Arkansas.

OK everyone, new pictures of Ethan are now posted. Please click on the "Family Photos" link to the right. There are lots of new pictures out there containing action shots with Ethan, Barrett, Laurel, and others.

Pig-sooooeeeee! I'll soon be on my way to watch the Tide play. Razorback Stadium is really nice. Plus, the Jumbotron is gigantic. I've said it before, I'll say it again, Wal*Mart money can do anything.... like make Arkansas football look like a legitimate power. Anyway, here's to hoping the Tide will Roll.

The BadJianZhu website is "an investigatgion of the not-so-subtle in Beijing architecture" adventure. Very cool/wacky stuff. A must read for my Julian and my Dad....

It is kind of suprising that I may have actually made a "good" technology purchase outside of my comfort zone. The last two video cameras were ok (our current camera has limited zoom and no digital card for still image capture). Our previous digital camea was lousy.
But, I hit a homerun with the HP camera. A "risky" purchase, considering that HP is not a traditional camera company. However, it looks like a pretty smart decision according to this new article.PhotographyBLOG -:- Home

OK, I have a very bad case of poison ivy. I've been scratching for two weeks as of today. Anyway, the steroid pills used to combat the scratch make sleeping difficult. I am "way behind" on rest. I am about to turn-in. But first, take a look at the new web browser that I tried today...
Firefox - Rediscover the web
Firefox is really wonderful. Tab browsing and plenty of plug-ins make for a great product. I've added the Sage plug-in to the browser. This makes for a nice alternative rss feeder that allows for quick "all in one" browsing from one application. Although, I still really prefer Sharpreader as a great overall rss solution.

More pictures are up in the Family Pictures link to the right. They are not clear (taken with my phone), but they capture some recent Ethan moments. It should be noted that I'm actually posting this at close to 3AM because I'm excited about the Ole Miss game, and I'm waiting for Lynn to return from ZTA Rush at BSC.

Would I leave the Treo 600 for another device? The following Review: Nokia 9300 Communicator (MobileBurn) actually gives a temptiing option. But, it will only be attractive if the price point is far lower than PalmOne's opton.
