Ethan loved his new car race track. Lynn hit the jackpot with this toy. I guess that this was his "reward" for sleeping in a Big Boy bed.

Ethan got his toddler bed last night. Please click on the Family Photos link in the right-side column to see more pictures of the event.

Noticed this web site when I was shopping for a mattress set for Ethan. [Lynn had me delete this link... something about it being very "disturbing"... sorry].
Ethan decided to climb out of the crib this past weekend. Getting a bed is tops on the to-do list today. Wonder if "[deleted]" would be an acceptable restraint in the eyes of the DHR?

Well, new entries are slow to appear these days. Lynn was helping with a ZTA workshop for much of the weekend at Birmingham-Southern. Therefore, the babysitting Dad didn't think too hard about capturing moments on the camera. Alas, the best moment was yesterday afternoon while washing the cars (which is decidedly UNsafe picture-taking time). Ethan played with soapy sponges and helped out. Pretty neat to see Ethan give the car wash an effort. Maybe he'll be strong enough to remove leaves from the gutters this fall.
Please click on the Family Photo link on the right-side cloumn of the web page to see a few more pictures of Ethan on our summer vacation.

Here's a picture from our trip to NC last week. Ethan's grandad took this picture during a walk around the lake.

Lots of pictures were taken on the playground today. As you can see, Lynn was never too far from the new camera. The family photo album will get lots of updates when we return to Birmingham.

We arrived forthe 4th of July. Grandparents sothered E with kisses.

"Auto-resized" pix of Rudy on new Treo software.

OK, I've been looking for software all AM to resize .jpg images on my Treo. This is a test of another sort. This was a "high quality" image that was resized on the PC, then placed on the Treo. Strange test. I'm curious.

We've created a monster. Ethan loves to wave the flag. Loves it. Well, we are traveling later today. Lots of fun! More pix from the mountains will follow in the comming days.

Lynn dresses Ethan for school on Tuesday. The patriotic theme plays all week. He had another outfit this morning. The parade is two days away.

To really understand what family life is like these days, a "candid" shot is displayed on the blog. Ethan just slipped on the "bubbles" spilled from his bubble-blowing-bottle. I think he is crying because he can't play with the bubbles. Not because he slipped.

Ethan loves Shrek. This is a Shrek bubble bath. Ethan has never seen the cartoon Shrek in commercials or anything (much less the movie). However, he still has this strong affinity for Shrek. Every time he sees Shrek, he says "Daddy." Hmm.

Ethan concentrates on learing the alphabet. Or, Ethan concentrates on how far he can throw the little book. You decide.

Good football site to review. July means that dreaming for a good season officially starts. SEC media days are soon.southernpigskin.com :: ACC, SEC, and SOCON Football Coverage
